MMI is designed to be simple, student-led, parent-supported and school-backed, with actions that are easy to adopt and sustain:
- Clear messaging around everyday manners (please, thank you, excuse me, listening, inclusion)
- A consistent visual identity across posters, uniforms, digital platforms and shared spaces
- Student ambassadors, including SRC and similar committees, who model and promote respectful behaviour
- Adult ambassadors from sport, business, media, music and the arts who champion the initiative, lead by example and reinforce the importance of respect beyond the school environment
- School-wide moments or campaigns that reinforce values throughout the year
- Positive reinforcement — recognising and celebrating good conduct rather than punishing poor behaviour
- Digital respect awareness, extending manners into online interactions and social media
- Strategic public relations and media exposure across television, magazines, newspapers, digital platforms, social media and podcasts to amplify the Manners Matter message
